Heiddy Ramilo is a Registered Medical Assistant since 2005. She completed her training and education at the Caliber Training Institute in New York City. Since then, she has worked in different clinic specialties in New York including Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Endocrinologist and bariatrics.
Her interest in Women’s Health and Obesity has been because of what weight loss provides in every woman and other aspects of their health, both physically and mentally.
"Medicine has always been a passion of mine. I loved making a difference in a person’s life and through medicine I’m able to achieve that. With my experience in different specialties, bariatrics has been the most rewarding for me. Since joining the Seriously Health Clinic, I was able to see firsthand how what I do helped make a difference: not just physically, but also mentally. I witness how other women had their quality of life improved because of this specialty. The difference that each patient sees from day one to their last day in the clinic is illustrates the confidence they gain back, and the happiness that shines in their eyes once they've achieved their weight goal. It is absolutely the most rewarding part of this job."
